After more than a month of near-continuous performances, the Simone Biles-led Gold Over America Tour finally took a break in Texas. On October 20, the gymnastics and entertainment spectacle landed in Fort Worth, following its show at Houston’s Toyota Center the previous night. With Biles enjoying a well-deserved rest before the tour heads to Cleveland on October 27, little Ronni, affectionately known as “Baby Biles,” has temporarily taken on gymnastics duties.

Ronni Biles, along with the rest of the family, closely followed Simone’s recent success in Paris. When the tour arrived in Houston, Biles’ sister-in-law Sammi Biles and toddler Ronni were front and center to support the record-breaking gymnast. Sammi later shared a social media post featuring Ronni eagerly following in her famous aunt’s footsteps.
Unlike Simone, who began her gymnastics journey at age six and later earned her spot on Team USA, two-year-old Ronni has already donned her own Team USA leotard. On Monday, Sammi shared an Instagram post of Ronni in a mini Team USA leotard with a red bow, joyfully playing around in the family’s World Champions Centre gym in Spring, Texas. Captured climbing mats, jumping into the foam pit, and balancing on the trampoline, Ronni was cheered on by Sammi, who encouraged her every step of the way. “See, you did it! Good job!” Sammi exclaimed as Ronni made her way across the gym.
Once Ronni reached the trampoline, Sammi excitedly praised her with, “You made it! By yourself, from over there!” Sammi’s pride in Ronni’s determination and spirit was unmistakable. She affectionately captioned the post, “Tiny but so mighty since the womb. The best kinda Monday morning.”
This wasn’t Ronni’s first time on the floor at the World Champions Centre, though. Previously, she was seen wearing a GK leotard, eagerly attempting to mimic her “TT” (auntie) Simone’s moves. Sammi noted how special it is to see Ronni’s passion for gymnastics developing so early, commenting, “The way she is so intrigued with this sport at such a young age is so special for many reasons.”
Just days before her gym visit, Ronni was thrilled to welcome Simone to the Toyota Center. Sammi shared an Instagram story of their arrival at the venue, capturing Ronni’s excitement as she spotted her “TT” at the gates. Bursting with energy, Ronni cheered, “TT go, TT go,” and even inside the stadium, she watched the big screen intently, hoping for a better view of her aunt.
Meanwhile, Simone’s husband, Jonathan Owens, was also in town, sharing quality time with her as the tour stopped in Houston. The two were spotted enjoying brunch and walking hand in hand, with Simone posting a few heartwarming moments from their day. She captioned one of her stories, “when hubby comes on tour.”
Ronni’s mini-takeover of the gym followed Simone’s October 19 Houston show, which was the tour’s 23rd stop. It was a special moment for Biles, who shared, “Show at home hits different.” After her final Texas performance in Fort Worth, Simone is taking a much-needed break before the tour resumes in Ohio.
From Ronni’s warm welcomes to her tiny tumbles on the mats, it’s hard to pick a favorite adorable moment. What was your favorite gesture from Baby Biles? Share your thoughts!
