Three-time NBA champion Danny Green has a unique perspective on the GOAT debate since he played with James in Cleveland and Los Angeles and won the 2020 championship with The King on the Lakers. Green also played against Bryant.
During an appearance on the “All the Smoke” podcast, Green said Jordan is his GOAT, James has had the greatest career and Bryant is the most skilled player.
Jordan averaged 30.1 points, 6.2 rebounds, 5.3 assists, 2.3 steals and 0.8 blocks with the Bulls and Washington Wizards. He’s first in NBA history in points per game in the regular season and postseason and fifth in points.
Bryant, who spent his entire career with the Lakers, averaged 25.0 points, 5.2 rebounds, 4.7 assists, 1.4 steals and 0.5 blocks. The late great shooting guard is fourth in NBA history in points.
Finally, James has career averages of 27.0 points, 7.5 rebounds, 7.4 assists, 1.5 steals and 0.7 blocks. He’s the leading scorer of all time and the only player in NBA history to rank top five all-time in points and assists.
