Caitlin Clark featured on Jeopardy, roots on former Iowa teammates all in one night
It was just a normal night for the sensation that is Caitlin Clark.
Women’s basketball’s biggest rising star found herself in multiple places at once on Thursday night. First, she was the answer to a clue on Jeopardy. Then, she pulled up to the Big Ten Tournament for a second consecutive game and continued to be good luck for her former Iowa teammates.
Clark’s Jeopardy clue was a gimme for any sports fan. She was the $400 option under the ‘Women in Sports’ category.
The clue: “The Indiana Fever’s No. 1 draft pick in 2024, she’s had a great effect on women’s basketball.”
One competitor quickly buzzed in with the right response, “Who is Caitlin Clark?”
Later on Thursday night, Clark was at Gainbridge Field House in Indianapolis as Iowa’s women’s basketball team took on 24th-ranked Michigan State in the Big Ten Tournament.
A night after defeating Wisconsin by 27, the Hawkeyes picked up a 74-61 win over the Spartans. The 11th-seed Iowa advances to play 3-seed Ohio State on Friday at 9 p.m. ET.
Clark was an active spectator cheering on her alma mater, and she even threw a couple of thumbs up to the referees after an and-1 call went in the Hawkeyes favor.

Clark also gained attention earlier Thursday when the latest episode of The Eli Manning Show was released. The two-time Super Bowl MVP edged Clark in a game of Pop-a-shot.
