Dwight Howard calls out Michael Jordan, saying his 48-inch vertical is a ‘Wilt lie’

In his prime, Dwight Howard was one of the most dominant players ever, known for his superhuman athleticism.

While there are legendary stories from back in the day, like Wilt Chamberlain and Michael Jordan performing seemingly impossible feats, such as 50-inch vertical jumps, bench pressing 500 pounds, or squatting 1,000, Howard isn’t entirely convinced they’re true.

During his appearance on the PBD Podcast, Howard called some of those stories exaggerated, even questioning arguably the greatest of all time, Michael Jordan, and his alleged 48-inch vertical leap.

“They are saying Michael Jordan has the highest vert ever (48-inch vertical leap). It’s got to be some Gatorade like Nike type we’re gonna pay to make this seem this way,” Howard stated.

“If Michael Jordan had a 48-inch vert, I feel like those are Wilt Chamberlain lies. That’s a Wilt lie,” he said.
