The Chicago Sky are in the middle of their second-straight tough season since drafting Angel Reese, and the star forward’s recent comments do not make things any better.
Reese, who recently snapped at her teammates during a game, sent out several comments that conveyed just how discontent she is with her franchise’s current place in the WNBA.
The Chicago Sky star notified her franchise, saying, “I’m not settling for the same s— we did this year,” Reese told the Chicago Tribune.

The Sky have the second-worst record in the WNBA entering Wednesday at 9-30.
“We have to get good players. We have to get great players. That’s a nonnegotiable for me.”
The Sky are led by head coach Tyler Marsh in his first year. He took over for Teresa Weatherspoon after the team finished 13-27 last season.
Angel Reese later added, “I am very vocal about what we need and what I want. I’d like to be here for my career, but if things don’t pan out, obviously, I might have to move in a different direction and do what’s best for me. But while I am here, I’m going to try to stay open-minded about what I have here and maximize that as much as I can.”
Now, she may have started a fire that she won’t be able to put out, because now her teammates are pissed.
Angel Reese’s Teammates Would Like A Word With Her
It has been a tough second season for Angel Reese.
Her shooting and overall play have improved, but the team is still racking up the losses.
Things were so bad that many on social media accused her of faking injuries to avoid playing for the team.
Now, her words about her teammates and coach have her in hot water.
Front Office Sports reported that her teammates are unhappy with her direct attack on them and plan to confront her about it.

For all the criticism she receives, Reese has averaged nothing less than a double-double since entering the WNBA in 2024.
Reese has averaged 14.6 points and 12.6 rebounds over 29 games this season.
