Caitlin Clark was caught handing Indiana Fever teammate Lexie Hull an odd item during a timeout on Thursday night.
The Fever played out to a blowout 81-54 victory over the Las Vegas Aces at home on the night, with Kelsey Mitchell leading all scorers with 25 points while Aliyah Boston was a dominant force in the paint, adding 20 points.
The Aces were held to just seven points in the fourth quarter, with Indiana’s stingy defense limiting them to a surprisingly low total. The win was a significant one for the Fever, as they had lost 16 straight games to the Aces heading into the contest.
They also did it without Caitlin, who remains sidelined with a groin injury.
At one point, Clark was caught on camera slipping a friendship bracelet onto Hull’s wrist while the Fever were in a timeout.
Check it out below:
“Huge CC and Fever fan, but this is why they will not be taken as seriously as the NBA😭,” one fan claimed.
“Why am I crying this is so sweet,” another shard.
“CC looooves Lexie. Fever have to keep her,” a user observed.
“She’s trying to add Lexie as her 6th friend. Lol why is this so cute?” another asked.
Caitlin Clark: Hopeful For Saturday

As mentioned above, Clark remains out with a groin issue. Thursday’s game marked the fourth she’s missed due to the injury. Her recent layoff comes on the back of a five-game absence in June resulting from a quad problem.
Still, the Fever have won three of their last four games, including the Commissioner’s Cup Final, without her.
Clark sustained the injury during a game against the Seattle Storm late last month. She has been day-to-day with the team since then, but there’s hope she could be back when the Fever play the Los Angeles Sparks on Saturday.
