Katy Perry sparks dating rumors with former Canadian Prime Minister Trudeau

Speculation about a romantic relationship arose after a photo captured U.S. pop star Katy Perry, 41, dining with former Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, 54.
U.S. entertainment media TMZ reported on the 29th (local time) that Perry enjoyed a dinner date with former Prime Minister Trudeau at an upscale restaurant in Montreal, Canada. This dating rumor emerged just a month after Perry split from her long-time boyfriend and fiancé, actor Orlando Bloom. As for the dating rumors, both Perry and Trudeau’s sides have yet to provide a statement.
The media reported that before the meal, Perry greeted Trudeau by saying, “Enjoy your meal,” and the two shared dishes that they ordered together while conversing throughout the meal. They also exchanged greetings with the chef during the meal, and after eating, they visited the kitchen to thank the staff. Photos obtained by TMZ showed the two smiling at each other.
Currently, Perry has been on her fifth world tour in Canada since the 22nd and is set to perform in Montreal on the 30th.
Perry has been in a romantic relationship with Bloom since 2016 and got engaged in 2019. The couple welcomed their daughter, Daisy Dove Bloom, in 2020. It is reported that their daughter is being co-parented in Montecito, California, where Perry’s home is located.
Former Prime Minister Trudeau is said to have entered into separation after ending 18 years of marriage in 2023. He has three children.
