North West says she would choose her dad, Kanye West, over her mom, Kim Kardashian, a thousand times.
“I will choose my daddy over my mum any day, any time. My daddy is my superhero. My dad is always busy, but no matter what, he never forgets to be a father.
He really does everything himself — he cooks for me, takes care of me, and makes sure I’m always safe.
We don’t have nannies, chefs, or bodyguards — it’s just us, and I love that.
When I used to stay with my mom, there were always people around taking care of things, and she was hardly ever home. I don’t even really know what she does for work.
But my dad? I know he’s a rapper, and when I grow up, I want to be just like him — strong, creative, and loving. I love my dad so much. He’s truly the best dad anyone could ever ask for.”
Despite Kim carrying North for 9 months and bre@st-feeding her for 6½ months, North still chose Ye over kim— and fans can’t help but ask:
why can’t she pity mom just a little

Kim Kardashian is calling foul on a fake quote attributed to her daughter North West about “choosing” the artist formerly known as Kanye West over her mom.
In a since-deleted Instagram post shared by update account CoolRap.TV, the microblog erroneously claimed that 12-year-old North said “she would choose her dad, Ye, over her Mom, Kim K.. a thousand times.”
“This interview never happened, and the quotes are fake,” Kardashian commented on the post, which appears to have been deleted. “North loves us both, and it’s harmful and weird to pit a child against either parent for clicks.”
Despite the fake quote, Kardashian did say in a 2023 episode of The Kardashians that North feels as if her famous father “has it all figured out.”
“North, she’ll go to her Dad’s [and] she’ll be like, ‘Dad is the best! He has it all figured out. He doesn’t have a nanny, he doesn’t have a chef, he doesn’t have security, he lives in an apartment,'” Kardashian said at the time. “And she’ll start crying, ‘Why don’t you have an apartment? I can’t believe we don’t have an apartment!'”
During a recent appearance on the Call Her Daddy podcast, Kardashian spoke about the emotional challenges of co-parenting with Ye, from whom she’s been divorced since 2022. She said that one of the “hardest moments to stay silent” is when her ex-husband makes public comments involving their kids or her family.
“I don’t care what you say about me,” Kardashian said in the episode. “I don’t care what you say about the world and your beliefs, any of that. Anything about my children, I don’t care what it is, that’s hard for me to sit back and be like, ‘Come on,’ you know? … It is hard to sit back when he says things about my mom. That’s what’s really hard for me because she loves him, and to this day still does and is super emotional about it and sad about it. It was a big part of our lives.”
Kardashian shared that despite her personal struggles, she makes a conscious effort to speak positively about Ye in front of their children, which led to a surprising moment when North told her, “Mom, I think you go upstairs and cry at night. It’s OK. It’s time to move on. You need to have a boyfriend now.”
