If winning a Golden Globe wasn’t good enough, the winners will also receive a very pricey gift bag.

By a gift bag, we don’t mean the type you used to get at a party as a kid, with a piece of cake and slinky inside it, but a bespoke weekend bag with some of the best goods the word has to offer.

Some of the lucky individuals to be taking home the gift bag include Demi Moore, Kieran Culkin, and Zoe Saldaña after winning their respective rewards at this evening’s Golden Globes (January 5).

And it’s not just the winning actors that get to take one home; the famous faces who presented tonight’s awards will also get to take one home.

It’s reported that last year’s goody bag was worth $500,000, but this year it’s doubled to an eye-watering $1 million.

Holding the luxury items is an Atlas Bespoke Weekender Bag, with its contents being put together by lifestyle publication Robb Report.

Luke Bahrenburg, the president of Robb Report and head of luxury sales at Penske Media Corporation, said of the $1million worth of gifts: “This year’s collection embodies the pinnacle of luxury, offering recipients an extraordinary journey through bespoke craftsmanship, exclusive experiences, and iconic brands that define excellence.

“From meticulously curated travel adventures to rare, indulgent treasures, every detail reflects our commitment to celebrating the best in class.”

From beauty and travel, to spirits and cigars, there’s nothing that the gift bag doesn’t have.

Here’s just some of the expensive items that the winners and presenters will get, and how much they’re worth:

A private flight and stay in Finland to see the Northern Lights ($48,000, available to one recipient)

Three-night stay in a beachfront villa in Turks and Caicos ($507,492, available to nine recipients)
Five-day luxury yacht charter throughout the Coral Triangle in Indonesia ($60,000, available to all 100 participants)
A non-surgical Stemcell Facelift ($40,000, available to one participant)
Vitamin C Serum and COQ10 ($98, available to all 100 participants)
A rare bottle of Komos XO tequila ($2,000, available to 10 participants)
A bottle of The Hearach Single Malt Scotch Whisky and/or Isle of Harris Gin ($90 and $150, available to all 100 participants)

In regards to come of the gifts that aren’t available to all 100 participants this year, the celebs will simply have to apply for it – for example, the three-night stay in Turks and Caicos.

It’s thought that all 100 of them will get at least 25 items though.

This year’s luxury gift bags went to all nominees and presenters at the Golden Globes

Some celebrities may have forgotten to read the small print when it came to their $1 million Golden Globe gift bags.

The Golden Globes on Sunday night (January 5) marked the first major awards night of the season, and saw the likes of Demi Moore, Kieran Culkin and Zoe Saldaña win their respective categories.

However, it wasn’t a total loss for the nominees that didn’t end up taking home an award as they, the winners and award presenters such as Vin Diesel will all have been gifted a jaw-dropping $1 million goody bag.

Quite the commiseration present, if you ask me.

The contents of the bags were curated by lifestyle publication Robb Report.

All 100 people who were eligible for the gift bag will have received:

Five-day luxury yacht charter throughout the Coral Triangle in Indonesia ($60,000)
One-night stay in a Beverly Hills suite ($1,500)
Five-night stay in a Grand Cayman resort ($55,000)
Beau Domaine The Fluid Cream ($209)
A choice of decadent organic-linen or cotton sateen sheets ($572 – $1,392)
A cutting-edge LED Light Therapy Face Mask Series 2 ($469)

Vitamin C Serum and COQ10 ($98)
A kit of flowery skin-care essentials ($290)
A bottle of The Hearach Single Malt Scotch Whisky and/or Isle of Harris Gin ($90 and $150)

Now, for any of you who could be bothered to do the math, you’ll know that these items don’t all add up to be a million dollars-worth of gifts, and that’s because some of the most luxury items were only available to a certain number of celebrities.

50 of the celebs could get their hands on a trip to the Maldives (JOALI BEING)

For example, a private flight and stay in Finland to see the Northern Lights worth $48,000 was only available to one recipient, and only nine people could go on the three-night stay in a beachfront villa in Turks and Caicos (worth over $500,000).

With the limited availability in mind, if a celebrity such as Ralph Fiennes – who was up for Best Actor in a Motion Picture Drama on Sunday night for Conclave – wanted the exclusive trip to Finland, he’d have to be the first person of the 100 eligible for the trip to put himself forward for it.

The same ‘first come, first served’ rule reportedly applied to the other freebies available to only a specific number of Hollywood stars, says The Guardian.

Personally I’d have been fighting tooth and nail for the three-night stay in a six-bedroom Caribbean estate villa…
