Estêvão breaks Neymar’s goal contribution record in Brazil

Estêvão scored and assisted in Palmeiras’ 5-3 win over Juventude on Sunday night to reach 18 goal contributions in 24 games this season in the Brazilian top-flight.

The prodigiously talented teenager has scored ten goals and provided eight assists, which he’s almost certain to add to with the Serie A season ending in December.

As the graphic below shows, Estêvão moved ahead of Neymar with the Brazilian legend registering 16 goal contributions during the 2009 season for Santos.

The top ten list is littered with famous faces with Endrick ranking third after scoring 11 goals for Palmeiras last season before joining Real Madrid.

Endrick’s teammates at the Santiago Bernabeu, Vinicius Junior and Rodrygo also feature in the list with current Granada star Reinier completing the top five.
