Boston Bruins captain spoke to the media after practice about his coaching debut with the Bruins Alumni team over the weekend.
Following the Bruins’ most recent 4-3 overtime win against the Philadelphia Flyers on Saturday, Brad Marchand went and made his coaching debut later that night when he coached the Bruins Alumni game.

The Bruins Alumni team held a charity game at Warrior Ice that would involve the 2011 Stanley Cup Champions team, and Brad Marchand would make his coaching debut.
Marchand had this to say about his coaching debut:
The Boston Bruins are gearing up to take on the Winnipeg Jets to start their five-game West Coast road trip, and Brad Marchand stated the Bruins are looking forward to playing these teams, especially since they are playing good.
Marchand believes this is going to be a good opportunity for the Boston Bruins to build as a team, and it’s going to be a good test to see where they currently sit.
The Bruins have been playing better under Joe Sacco, but they have not really played any really good teams.
Going on this West Coast trip they are going to see some top teams in the Winnipeg Jets, Edmonton Oilers, and the Vancouver Canucks.
Under Joe Sacco, the Boston Bruins are sitting 7-2-0 and are looking to build off of this on the West Coast trip.
But they may have to play some games without top goal scorer David Pastrnak, as Joe Sacco labeled him as day-to-day with a upper-body injury.
