Taylor Swift missed Travis Kelce’s games due to busy schedule, security concerns — not because of romance woes
Taylor Swift was a no-show at her NFL star boyfriend’s past two games. But we’re told her absence isn’t a sign that she’s on the outs with Kansas City Chief’s tight end Travis Kelce.
Swift was famously unmissable at Kelce’s games last season.
So some eyebrows were raised after she was absent from the team’s match-up against the Atlanta Falcons at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta last weekend, and then again when they played the Chargers at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles this weekend.

But a source tells us Swift has just been busy rehearsing for the re-start of her Eras tour, which kicks off again October 18 in Miami.
We hear it is also more difficult for the “Shake It Off” singer to attend games that aren’t at the Chiefs’ own Arrowhead Stadium where they play home games.
“If she is going to a place that isn’t Arrowhead, there are security concerns,” says a source.
“She has worked with Arrowhead so many times, they feel at ease and comfortable. Going to all kinds of different stadiums, you need to send a team in advance.”
Swift’s security concerns have been heightened since she canceled shows in Vienna after law enforcement learned of plans for an ISIS terror attack.
The no-shows come amid ongoing criticism of her boyfriend Travis Kelce’s performance on the field this season — which some analysts have blamed on his busy private life. But we hear both of them are thick-skinned.

“They are both tough people,” says the source.
But they also conceded that her absence did give the high-profile couple a bit of “a break” from the endless onslaught of haters.
The Chiefs are on a winning streak of 4-0.
