“This saga still continue, guys,” – a netizen announced.BLACKPINK Rosé shares her heartbreaking story with Evan Mock as her ‘ex’ in Toxic Till The End MV

Toxic Till The End MV stars BLACKPINK’s Rosé as herself and Evan Mock as ‘the ex.’ As the idol shared previously, the entire album is filled with tracks personal to the 27-year-old singer as she tried to narrate the story of many ups and downs in a relationship as someone in their 20s.

Some of the other tracks are Gameboy, Drinks or Coffee, Stay a Little Longer, Not the Same, Dance All Night, 3 AM, Two Years, Call It The End, Too Bad For Us, and Vampirehollie (Vampirehollie edition vinyl only).

The MV is a reminiscence of country-side love. It begins with BLACKPINK’s Rosé giving Evan Rock a lift, ultimately blossoming into an intimate relationship. Things get shaky as he begins to hide his phone and notifications from her. The singer and Evan Mock also share a kiss in the MV that stirred the internet.

The song’s lyrics suggest that BLACKPINK’s singer knew the relationship was toxic from the beginning. It also portrays that ‘the ex’ has been possessive and manipulative. Despite all the wrongs, the singer could not resist meeting him again, so she realized they both were toxic from the start.

The MV is directed by Ramez Silyan, a Syrian-Armenian writer and director based in Los Angeles. He has directed music videos for various rappers and pop stars, such as Daniel Caeser’s Let Me Go, Post Malone’s Mourning, The Kid, Jungkook, Central Cee’s Too Much, Khalid’s Heatstroke, and many more.

Gameboy’s singer released her much-anticipated album Rosie on December 6 with 13 tracks. APT. featuring Bruno Mars and Number One Girl, which are the two pre-released tracks from the album.
