As the 2024 Olympics draw to a close, one name has dominated the Paris Games: Simone Biles. The American gymnast, celebrated for her unparalleled talent and resilience, has claimed her third gold medal at these Games. Yet, while her achievements on the mat have captivated the world, Biles has another significant project awaiting her back home in Texas—a dream mansion she began building in 2023.

The new lakefront property, which Biles has been sharing glimpses of on Instagram, is shaping up to be a gold medal home in its own right. The mansion features double-height ceilings and a neutral color palette, reflecting both Biles’ refined taste and her reported $20 million net worth. Construction is well underway, with recent updates showing the installation of tiles, sliding door frames, and the home’s expansive wooden beams.

Biles, born in 1997 in Columbus, Ohio, and raised in Spring, Texas, has always valued her home life. After being adopted by her maternal grandfather and his wife, she began her gymnastics journey at the age of six. By 2013, she had become a world champion. Despite her demanding career, Texas has remained her anchor, and she currently resides in a contemporary home in Houston, which she purchased in 2020.

This new lakefront property, however, is set to be a true dream home for Biles and her husband, Jonathan Owens, an NFL player for the Green Bay Packers. The couple first announced the project in September 2023, sharing photos of themselves at the construction site on Instagram. The home’s location next to a serene lake and surrounded by lush greenery promises a tranquil retreat for the couple.

Biles and Owens, who married legally at the 1910 Harris County Courthouse in Houston in April 2023, followed by a celebratory ceremony in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, are clearly committed to building a life together in Texas. Despite Owens’ NFL career in Green Bay, Biles’ heart remains firmly in Texas, where she has invested in several properties over the years.

Her current Houston home, a contemporary ranch-style residence, showcases her love for modern design. With four bedrooms, three and a half bathrooms, and an open floor plan, the home is both stylish and functional. The living room, adorned with white walls, wooden floorboards, and a gray couch, is flooded with natural light from the sliding glass doors. Upstairs, the master suite offers dual walk-in closets and a spa-like bathroom, perfect for unwinding after a long day.

The kitchen, featuring white cupboards, gray marble countertops, and black stools, is another standout space in the home. Its modern design is complemented by vibrant artwork and an oversized island ideal for entertaining. The outdoor area, with its modern furniture, inground pool, and raised hot tub, further enhances the home’s appeal.

Biles’ Texas home is more than just a residence; it’s a reflection of her dedication, style, and love for her family and pets. As she continues to make strides in her gymnastics career, her Texas sanctuary provides the perfect place for her to relax and recharge.

From her ongoing Olympic success to the construction of her dream home, Simone Biles continues to inspire both in and out of the gym. Her Texas properties, especially her new lakefront mansion, are a testament to the rewards of her hard work and determination.
