WWE veteran dumbfounded about Uncle Howdy’s mysterious absence from TV
Among the many stories currently active on WWE TV, The Final Testament and The Wyatt Sicks program are visually the most unique. Despite the angle moving forward on RAW, Vince Russo was surprised not to see Uncle Howdy on the latest episode.
Lumis’ partners showed up in the ring after the lights expectedly went off and the post-match segment ended with Karrion Kross and crew retreating with caution.
While the moment was pretty explosive, the absence of Uncle Howdy was a big talking point after Monday Night RAW, and Vince Russo couldn’t understand why WWE would keep Bo Dallas away.
Russo explained his viewpoint by mentioning the iconic Freddy Krueger character and how the classic horror movie Nightmare on Elm Street would not have been the same if Freddy was not on the screen during its most important bits.
“Was Uncle Howdy not even there? He wasn’t there! I thought for sure they were going to retreat up the aisle, and Uncle Howdy was going to appear. (Vince Russo was at a loss of words over WWE’s decision). Bro, that’s like having a Friday the 13th movie or Nightmare on Elm Street, and for the last 15 minutes, nobody knows where Freddy is. 15 minutes and we go home, and Freddy never came.” [28:20 onwards]
Uncle Howdy will certainly be back sometime soon. Rest assured, The Wyatt Sicks might have an even stronger response to The Final Testament amid a heated feud.
