Kansas City Chiefs unveil star-studded inactive players list for Week 18 regular-season finale vs. Denver Broncos
The Kansas City Chiefs (15-1) and the Denver Broncos (9-7) have released their inactive players lists ahead of their game at Empower Field at Mile High Stadium in Week 18’s regular-season finale.
The Chiefs are doing what they were expected to do with starters in Week 18 vs. the Broncos, resting key players for what is ultimately a meaningless game for Kansas City. Things couldn’t be more different for Denver. They’re playing to win the game with their first playoff berth since 2015 on the line. The Broncos won’t have any excuses, given the star-studded cast of inactive Chiefs players for Sunday afternoon.

Here’s a look at all of the players who landed on the inactive players list for both teams ahead of the Week 18 matchup.
Chiefs inactive players
QB Patrick Mahomes
TE Travis Kelce
DT Chris Jones
OT Jawaan Taylor
RB Isiah Pacheco
CB Trent McDuffie
DE George Karlaftis
Broncos inactive players
OT Frank Crum
QB Zach Wilson
RB Blake Watson
LB Levelle Bailey
DL Matt Henningson
DL Eyioma Uwazurike
Observations:
Both WR Mecole Hardman and CB Jaylen Watson were ruled out for this game, but won’t appear on the inactive players list. They both remain on injured reserve after seeing their practice window opened by Kansas City this past week.
The Chiefs will only have 48 players active after making seven players inactive for Week 18. Expect more players such as Justin Reid, Drue Tranquill and Kareem Hunt to dress for the game, but now play on Sunday.
