On the previous episode of SmackDown, Tiffany Stratton achieved a huge victory by defeating Naomi and Elektra Lopez in a Triple Threat Match. This win allowed her to advance to the semi-finals of the WWE Women’s United States Championship Tournament, giving her a shot at becoming the first-ever Women’s US Champion. Nevertheless, there might be a potential obstacle in her path to the finals this Friday, as a seasoned four-time champion could prevent her from reaching her goal.
The Women’s US Championship tournament finals are set to happen at Saturday Night’s Main Event. Before that, the semi-finals must take place, and it is anticipated to be a thrilling spectacle. Bayley is set to compete against Chelsea Green, and Michin will be pitted against Tiffany Stratton. Although Stratton is the favorite to come out on top in her match, her triumph could be at risk because of the four-time champion, Nia Jax.
The Irresistible Force, a two-time world champion and two-time tag team champion, was not present last week on SmackDown. However, she would not have forgotten what happened at Survivor Series. During the WarGames match, Tiffany Stratton was contemplating cashing in on her “Queen.” This could not have sat well with Nia, so to teach The Buff Barbie a lesson, she may potentially cost the latter her spot in the Women’s US Championship tournament finals.
Whether that would be intentionally getting her disqualified or laying waste to her when the referee is distracted remains to be seen. But, as of this writing, this remains nothing more than speculation.
Veteran journalist believes Tiffany Stratton will cash in at Saturday Night’s Main Event
Tiffany Stratton has a lot on her plate right now. Her semifinal match in the Women’s US Championship Tournament aside, she still has the Money in the Bank briefcase. It’s been a while since she won the contract, and fans are eager to see her cash in. Well, according to veteran journalist Bill Apter, they may not have to wait much longer.
It certainly would be quite a twist, especially considering the Money in the Bank contract is usually used to gain a world title opportunity. But this is WWE and the business of pro wrestling we are talking about. So, anything could happen.
