Jason Kelce Refuses Travis’ Suggestion of Wearing a Split Eagles-Chiefs Jersey to the Super Bowl Like Mom Donna and Says He’s Supporting Only One Team with a Jersey of…
The brothers bantered about the fashion conundrum facing Jason on the latest episode of their “New Heights” podcast

Jason Kelce has a non-negotiable regarding his Super Bowl style this year: no split jerseys.
Less than two weeks before the retired Philadelphia Eagles center’s former team takes on his brother Travis Kelce’s Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday, Feb. 9, Jason revealed what he will — and what he won’t — be wearing.
“I can’t wear Kansas City red for this one, Trav,” Jason, 37, told his brother on their New Heights podcast this week. “I can’t wear red, I can’t wear it, I can’t bring myself to it.”
All of which had the Chiefs tight end nearly seeing red.
“What about like Bearcat red?” Travis, 35, batted back, in reference to their college team, the University of Cincinnati.
“That’s what Kylie does,” Jason allowed, “but I don’t even think she’s gonna be doing that this time around.”
With Jason’s wife Kylie Kelce, an ardent Eagles fan, not repping the boys’ alma mater Cincinnati’s colors, what will the Monday Night Countdown analyst likely sport?
“I’m gonna wear my New Heights Big Yeti shirt, my yellow one, I’ll wear that,” the former NFL star offered. Travis, though, pointed out that he could wear one of their new New Heights merch in Eagles green instead, to Jason’s agreement.
It’s not the first time that the family has had to deal with the fashion quandary.
During the Kelce Bowl — when the Chiefs last played the Eagles in the 2023 Super Bowl and the brothers faced off — their mother Donna Kelce famously donned a split jersey, part Eagles green and part Chiefs red.
Or, what Travis called on the podcast, “a Mom Jacket.”

Still, Jason is facing a seemingly tougher choice than what to wear: Who will he root for?
“I will always be an Eagle, first and foremost,” Jason said in response to the hypothetical query from a fan in the “No Dumb Questions” segment of the brothers’ New Heights podcast when a Chiefs-Eagles Super Bowl rematch was first floated on the show last March.
Jason added, “I’ll also root for Travis to have a good game because he’s my brother.”
