Marcus Jordan, Michael Jordan’s son, arrested on DUI, cocaine possession charges

Marcus Jordan, the son of NBA Hall of Famer Michael Jordan, was arrested on charges of DUI property damage or personal injury, cocaine possession and resisting arrest in Florida Tuesday morning, according to police records.
The Maitland Police Department arrested Marcus Jordan, who was booked into Orange County Jail.
TMZ first reported Marcus Jordan’s arrest.
According to police records obtained by Orlando’s WESH2, Jordan was arrested after fleeing a traffic stop. Police said they encountered Jordan when they saw headlights on a set of railroad tracks, and Jordan reportedly asked for help getting his blue Lamborghini SUV off the tracks “after he made a wrong turn.”
Per the report, an officer said Jordan’s speech was slurred, he had bloodshot eyes, smelled of alcohol and “didn’t seem to know where he was.”
There was reportedly another passenger in the car, but they have not been identified.
According to WESH2, the arrest affidavit says officers found a “clear plastic baggie with a white powdery substance” in Jordan’s pocket, which later tested positive for cocaine.
Per the report, Jordan had posted bond Tuesday morning and was set to be released.
Marcus, 34, is Michael Jordan’s second-oldest son. He briefly played basketball at the University of Central Florida, and is the CEO and founder of the Trophy Room, a retail boutique that sells footwear and apparel.
In 2012, Marcus pleaded no contest to disorderly conduct and resisting arrest in Omaha, Nebraska. He was also charged with obstructing a police officer, which was dropped as part of a plea agreement.
