Michael Jordan had the ultimate response when somebody tried to flex on him at Vegas’ most expensive golf course

The NBA GOAT and Chicago Bulls legend put a podcast host in their place.

It takes a brave person to go toe-to-toe with basketball GOAT Michael Jordan and a YouTube podcast host described the hard way what happens when you try and flex on the NBA legend.

Jordan has been retired from the basketball court for more than 20 years but endures legendary status to this day thanks to his sporting exploits over a glory-laden career.

The now 62-year-old spent the majority of his career with the Chicago Bulls, then latterly with the Washington Wizards in the closing stages for the last two years.

The six-time NBA Champion enjoyed a memorable spell with the Bulls as he was named the MVP in the NBA Finals a total of six times.

MJ’s status as a cultural icon was honed and developed thanks to his NBA career, but he transcended the sport thanks to his achievements off the basketball court too.

Jordan also made the move into sportswear with his Nike Air Jordan trainers, as well as in Hollywood with the 1996 film Space Jam and was the focus of Emmy-winning documentary series The Last Dance in 2020 on streaming platform Netflix.

Thanks to his success on and off the court, Jordan’s net worth is estimated by Forbes to stand at a cool $3.5bn.

And with that wealth to his name, MJ can splash the cash if he so chooses at big levels and can be quite a flex, as one podcast host found out.

GOLF Subpar co-host Colt Knost has recalled how Jordan put someone in his place at the prestigious Shadow Creek Golf Course in Las Vegas.

Knost described how his friend tried to ‘flex’ on MJ at the course when he used a casino chip to mark his golf ball in front of the NBA legend.

Knost said: “We get paired with MJ and Ben Herman… and this guy, you know he’s acting all cock-in-the-walk and all this, marks his ball with a $25,000 chip.

“MJ sees it and throws a little $100,000 chip behind his ball, and he goes, ‘Cute whatever your name is.'”

Knost then explained how he said to Jordan: “M, if you keep dropping them $100,000 chips behind your ball I’m going to take one.”

But the Bulls legend delivered a mic drop moment by responding: “That’s fine, fat boy – I’ve got 17 more of them in the room.”

It means Jordan had a cool $1.8m just in casino chips – highlighting just out much MJ is worth – but also what can happen why you try.
