Nia Jax showed off her battle wounds following this week’s edition of WWE SmackDown. The Irresistible Force was not in action at Saturday Night’s Main Event.
The 40-year-old is currently in an alliance with Tiffany Stratton and Candice LeRae on the blue brand. It was announced during last Friday’s episode of WWE SmackDown that LeRae and Jax would be challenging Bianca Belair and Naomi for the Women’s Tag Team Championship.
The match was taped this past Friday night, and Jax took to Instagram today to show off her battle wounds and revealed she was bleeding from her head. You can check out the champion’s Instagram story by clicking here.

Tiffany Stratton was eliminated from the Women’s United States Championship Tournament this past Friday night by Michin. Following the loss, Jax and LeRae belittled The Buff Barbie backstage. The 25-year-old won the Women’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match earlier this year, and can still cash in for a title match at any moment.
Chelsea Green went on to defeat the former Mia Yim at Saturday Night’s Main Event to become the inaugural Women’s United States Champion.
Former WWE employee reveals he wants to see Tiffany Stratton dethrone Nia Jax
Wrestling veteran Tommy Carlucci recently explained why he wanted to see Tiffany Stratton capture the WWE Women’s Championship from Nia Jax.
The veteran won the Queen of the Ring Tournament in May to earn a title shot and went on to defeat Bayley at SummerSlam to become champion. Speaking on the Behind The Turnbuckle: The Last Word podcast, Carlucci stated that he would love to see Stratton become champion. He claimed that Ms. MITB was a better performer and had more charisma than Jax.
“I would love to see Tiffany [Stratton] be the champ. She’s more entertaining, she’s better looking, she’s more charismatic than Nia has ever been in her life. And I would love to see that,” he said.
Nia Jax was released by WWE in 2021 but returned to the roster on the September 11, 2023, edition of RAW to interfere in the Women’s World Championship match between Rhea Ripley and Raquel Rodriguez.
It will be fascinating to see if Nia Jax and Candice LeRae can capture the Women’s Tag Team Championship next Friday night on SmackDown.
