Rhea Ripley made a huge announcement on the latest edition of WWE RAW. This could have major implications for the direction of the women’s division.
Ripley’s feud with Liv Morgan has become more violent and personal with each passing week. Rhea injured Liv last year, which prompted the former to embark on a revenge tour against Mami when she returned.
However, injuring Ripley and winning the Women’s World Championship wasn’t enough for Liv Morgan, as she wanted to take everything from Mami. She turned The Judgment Day and Dominik Mysterio against her.
The Eradicator has been trying to get back her title, but she has had to combat against both Dom and Raquel Rodriguez, who have interfered in her matches. However, that has not stopped her from trying to get her hands on the Women’s World Champion.
Tonight on WWE RAW, Rhea confronted Liv in a heated segment. Mami told her that Adam Pearce has named her the number one contender for the Women’s World Championship. However, she didn’t say when the match would take place. If Mami manages to win back the Women’s World Championship, then the entire division will be put on notice since Rhea Ripley was a dominant champion during her run.
It will be interesting to see when Rhea Ripley will get her title match against Liv Morgan.
