Rhea Ripley is seemingly no longer trying to get back everything she lost to Liv Morgan, from Dominik Mysterio to her beloved Judgment Day. Ripley has set her focus on the most important thing and that’s the Women’s World Championship.
The Eradicator is seemingly next in line for a shot at the Women’s World Title after confronting Liv Morgan at Saturday Night’s Main Event. Morgan had just successfully defended her championship against IYO SKY in a hard-hitting match.
Speaking to Jackie Redmond and Peter Rosenberg backstage, Mami was asked about her thoughts on getting in Morgan’s face post-match. She explained that it’s all about thinking into the future and moving on from getting back all she lost. She has to let it go and set her sights on winning back the Women’s World Championship, a title she relinquished due to injury.
“I’m thinking about the future. The past is the past. At the end of the day, I can’t reverse that. I can’t get back the things that I lost, the things that she took from me. But the one thing that I can do is look to the future and look at that Women’s World Championship and know that it’s gonna be mine soon,” Ripley said. [1:07 – 1:25]
Who attacked Jade Cargill? WWE Hall of Famer tells us here
It will interesting to see when Rhea Ripley will face Liv Morgan for the Women’s World Championship. The next premium live event is the 2025 Royal Rumble at the start of February. However, WWE is also beefing up the card for RAW’s Netflix premiere, so more big matches could get added soon.
How did Rhea Ripley earn another shot at Liv Morgan?
Rhea Ripley failed to regain the Women’s World Championship twice recently, at SummerSlam and Bad Blood. Ripley was screwed in both matches by Dominik Mysterio and Raquel Rodriguez, respectively.
The Nightmare remained a thorn in Liv Morgan’s side and continued to haunt her reign. She pinned Morgan at Survivor Series: WarGames after putting her through a table with a top rope Riptide.
Ripley followed it up with a huge victory over Raquel Rodriguez last Monday on RAW in an Anything Goes Match. It will be interesting to see if her match against Morgan is made official before the end of the year.
