Jordan Marshall is prepared to prove people wrong

Ohio’s Mr. Football signed with the University of Michigan and is a signature signing for the Wolverines program. Jordan Marshall always said he wanted to follow the legacy of legendary running backs in the history of UM including the Wolverines’ former RB, Blake Corum. As Corum prepares for the 2024 NFL Draft, Marshall prepares to take over the role with some lofty aspirations.

A recent interview saw the new Running Back for Wolverines answer some of the pressing questions about the games and the future ahead. He was asked about his message to the fans. Regarding goals and aspirations, Jordan Marshall knew what the people and critics thought about the football team.

Accordingly, he explained, “One National Championship is, it’s all right but we got to keep repeating that. And we’re going to come in hungry and ready to go and excited because we have a lot to still prove, and people think it was just a fluke. And I think we’re going to be scary competitor these next four years.” With Sherrone Moore’s blueprint revamp for Michigan’s game, the gears are already turning it seems.

Moore revamps the strategy of the Wolverines

The first black coach in the history of Michigan football is already on the journey to bring in recruits starting with Jordan  Marshall. After Jim Harbaugh moved to the NFL with the Los Angeles Chargers, the University of Michigan made the historic move and promoted the 37-year-old from assistant to head coach.

Sherrone Moore admitted, “I can’t be Jim Harbaugh,” but he has carried forward the recruitment process set by his predecessor. Bringing in passionate recruits and players onto the team is his main goal. These players should also align with Michigan’s core ethics and values. In addition to recruiting players, Moore is also looking at a new defensive coordinator and promoting Grant Newsome to offensive line coach.
