Elizabeth And Lucas: The GH Friendship We Didn’t Know We Needed
Friendships come and go on General Hospital. The latest twosome, Elizabeth and Lucas, have been bonding, and we are loving it.
Liz and Lucas Are Besties
Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) has not been able to catch a break when it comes to love in recent years. Franco (Roger Howarth), one of the loves of her life, was murdered. She then had a fiasco of a relationship with Finn (Michael Easton). Thankfully, he left, which worked out well because her first love, Lucky (Jonathan Jackson), returned to Port Charles.
Unfortunately, Lucky cannot fight the temptation of a life on the road, so he took off. Liz is back to being the best single mom in Port Charles, but Ric (Rick Hearst) has been following her around like a puppy. Fans do not want her to fall for him; let him stay with Ava (Maura West).
Elizabeth has been growing closer to Lucas (Van Hansis) during this time. The two are building a wonderful friendship. They confide in each other, seem to have a lot of fun together, and even do a little spy work at the hospital. Liz may need someone like Lucas in her life to help guide her away from the likes of Ric.
Future Roommates?
Lucas is going through something at the moment. Sonny (Maurice Benard) kidnapped his new boyfriend, Marco (Adrian Anchondo), which caused a terrible fight between him and his sister, Carly (Laura Wright). He was so furious that he decided to move out of the Metro Court.
Lucas is without a home, and Liz has a big, empty house. Roomies? It makes sense. Elizabeth has talked about being lonely without her boys, so this would be great for her. Plus, Lucas can be a great role model for Aiden (Colin Cassidy) when he returns from traveling with his dad.
