‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Will Britt Steal Miracle Drug For Obrecht To Recreate When Jason Brings Her Home?

General Hospital spoilers hint that Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) is staying at the Five Poppies resort in Croatia to work on a mysterious project.

She’s only allowed to receive her medication, presumably for her Huntington’s disease, if she continues to cooperate and conduct her research.

Pascal (Marc Forget) has repeatedly warned Britt that if she doesn’t continue working in the lab, she will lose access to this miracle drug.

We saw Britt inject herself with an unidentified drug, which appears to be her nighttime regimen. We assume it is a medication that slows down the progression of her Huntington’s.

Britt told Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) that her Huntington’s is in “remission.” It’s important to note that, in reality, this wouldn’t be possible since Huntington’s disease is incurable. However, it is a soap, so we must suspend our disbelief.

The former Chief of Staff of GH appears to be forced into involvement in this dangerous project. She clearly doesn’t really want to be there. Britt is a free spirit, yet she seems stuck in Dalmatia, seemingly against her will.

Britt recently discovered Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) and Vaughn (Bryce Durfee) locked in a room and tied up. Britt procured a pair of manicure scissors for them.

She then used the burner phone that Jason gave her and summoned him to return to the Five Poppies.

The feisty brunette left Jason instructions on where to meet her, and it was in that shady lab. Britt needs help rescuing Joss and Vaughn. She did everything she could.

We recall Jason and Britt being a formidable team as they went on the run together after defeating Cyrus Renault’s (Jeff Kober) men, who tried to kill Britt.

Since Britt works in the lab, she could somehow steal the formula for the medicine she needs. Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) has the medical expertise and skills necessary to recreate the drug for Britt.

The first hurdle to overcome, of course, is Britt explaining to her mom how she managed to survive “the Hook.” Unless she already knows. We saw Britt die in her mother’s arms after her birthday party on New Year’s Eve in 2023.

Yet, we also saw Britt looking at her phone at pictures of Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr). She may have these pictures thanks to her “Mutta.”

If she doesn’t know, Liesl will be thrilled that her precious Britta is still alive, and she’d be willing to do whatever it takes to keep her breathing as long as she can.

It’s hard to tell with someone like Obrecht whether she’s telling the truth about her daughter or not. Jason, who is usually a good judge of character, felt that Liesl was sincerely grieving for Britt.

The GH scribes, Elizabeth Korte and Chris Van Etten, recently spoke with Soap Opera Digest and gave off the impression that Obrecht was mourning the loss of her child, who isn’t really dead. So we’ll find out.

Regardless, Britt may succeed in obtaining the formula for the medicine, or at least a few doses she can use to replicate the drug.

Spoilers indicate there will be a lot more action at the Five Poppies hotel. We predict that Jason helps Britt steal the drug and bring her back to Port Charles, where she belongs.
