Reese had 11 points, 11 assists, and 13 rebounds for her first career triple-double in the Chicago Sky’s 78-66 win over the Connecticut Sun, but it may have been overshadowed by her almost fighting.
In the third quarter, Reese and Sun guard Bria Hartley were vying for a rebound, but Reese would end up having her hair pulled from behind.
Reese immediately got in her in the face. Connecticut forward Olivia Nelson-Ododa stepped in between the two players, and Reese responded with a shove.
Sun veteran Tina Charles was also involved in the skirmish, as she had words for the second-year player, and others moved in to separate them.
The replay showed that Angel Reese was trying to signal to Charles that her hair was pulled.
Chicago eventually pulled away from Connecticut and won the game 78-66.
Sky rookie Hailey Van Lith had 16 points all the bench, leading all Chicago scorers.

On Sunday, Angel Reese scored the first triple-double of her WNBA career in the Chicago Sky’s 78-66 win over the Connecticut Sun.
The second-year star racked up 11 points, 13 rebounds, and 11 assists in the victory, adding three steals and two blocks.
She got the feat with her 10th assist on a jumper by Ariel Atkins with 2:46 remaining in the game.
Reese is the second player to notch a triple-double in the WNBA this season, joining rival Caitlin Clark.
Reese set a WNBA record during her rookie season by getting a double-double in 13 consecutive games.
Reese finished with 28 double-doubles last season, but that is only because a late-season injury forced her to miss the remainder of the games.
