Elon Musk’s teenage child has filed a petition to legally change her gender and name, stating that she no longer wishes to be associated with her biological father.

The 18-year-old, formerly known as Xavier Alexander Musk, filed the legal paperwork in California on April 18 to officially change her name to Vivian Jenna Wilson, as reported by TMZ. In the petition, she explained her reasoning: “I no longer live with or wish to be related to my biological father in any way, shape, or form.”

Vivian’s mother is Justine Wilson, Elon Musk’s ex-wife, who divorced him in 2008. Together, they share twins, Xavier (now Vivian) and Griffin, as well as triplets Damian, Kai, and Saxon, who are now 16. The former couple welcomed the twins in 2004, two years after the tragic loss of their first son, Nevada Alexander Musk, who died at 10 weeks old.

Justine Wilson shared a brief exchange with her child on Twitter, where Vivian reportedly said, “I had a weird childhood. I can’t believe I’m as normal-seeming as I am.” Justine replied, “I’m very proud of you,” to which Vivian responded, “I’m proud of myself!”

It remains unclear whether Elon Musk was aware of the court documents being filed. Neither Musk, Tesla, nor a lawyer for Justine Wilson has released any public statements regarding the matter. A hearing is scheduled to take place on Friday.

On Father’s Day, Elon Musk tweeted his love for all of his children, saying, “I love them so much.”

Musk has previously made controversial statements about pronouns. In July 2020, he tweeted that pronouns “sucked” and described them as an “esthetic nightmare,” according to News7.

Meanwhile, in March 2022, Musk welcomed his second child with musician Grimes. The news of their daughter’s birth was unintentionally revealed during an interview with Vanity Fair. Grimes had initially attempted to keep the baby’s arrival private, but a crying infant was heard upstairs during the interview. The child, named Exa Dark Sideræl Musk, is referred to as Y and joins her older brother X Æ A-12, commonly known as X.

The four-year-old, X Æ A-12, or ‘X’ for short, told his dad exactly what he needs to do as president-elect Donald Trump’s head of the Department of Government Efficiency.

The Tesla chief, 53, who has a total of 12 children, posted the precious clip to X on Sunday night as his son was strapped in his car seat.

‘What should I do?,’ Musk asked him as his son responded: ‘Save America.’

‘And?,’ Musk said as X simply replied: ‘Help Trump!’ The billionaire captioned the post: ‘This kid has great instincts.’

This is not the first time Musk has showcased his son – who he shares with Canadian musician Grimes – as he’s continued to bring him along on his business ventures.

On Thursday morning, Musk and X arrived at the Capitol Building to meet with Senate Majority Leader John Thune.

Musk, dressed in a suit, was pictured arriving at the meeting with the youngster sitting on his shoulders.

The resemblance between the father-and-son duo was certainly apparent as they walked into the meeting together.

Afterwards, X was seen holding tightly onto his dad’s hand as he made his way through a crowd of reporters and photographers.

In his other hand, he held a small orange basketball. In certain shots, the father-son duo could be seen making the same facial expressions, scrunching up their faces.

Loving dad Elon smiled adoringly at his son as they exited the building together.

His son also joined in on the election night action at Mar-a-Lago with a front seat to the star-studded bash.

It may have been past the toddler’s bedtime, but it looked like he had a great time as he partied alongside a slew of celebrities and political figures, munched on some yummy treats, and spent quality time with his famous father.

A week prior, the youngster joined his famous dad at Trump’s rally at Madison Square Garden.

The youngster wore a customized red MAGA hat to the five-hour event, which read: ‘Make voting great again.’

He was spotted holding up a Trump/Vance sign and chatting with incoming First Lady Melania Trump throughout the evening.

After he got elected, Donald tapped Elon and Vivek Ramaswamy to ‘dismantle’ the $6.5 trillion bloated U.S. bureaucracy by heading the newly created Department of Government Efficiency.

Elon, who has kids from three different women, welcomed X in May 2020 with his ex-girlfriend Grimes.

He and Grimes – who also goes by Claire Elise Boucher- split in 2021, reenkindled their romance and then split again.

The Tesla CEO has a total of 12 children who he shares with three different partners.

His first child, who he shares with Justine Wilson was born in 2002 and tragically passed away due to injuries related to sudden infant death syndrome, The New York Times reported.

Two years later the pair welcomed a pair of twins into the world – Griffin Musk and Vivian Wilson – both conceived through in vitro fertilization.

Throughout the years, Vivian has remained outspoken about her father, especially after Trump was crowned the 47th president of the United States.

She was born as a male named Xavier, but filed court documents seeking to legally change her gender from male to female in April 2022.

At the time, she also requested to change her name to Vivian Jenna Wilson, taking the maiden name of her mother.

After Trump declared victory, Vivian, now 20, took to Threads to discuss her ‘future’ following the news.

She admitted that she ‘doesn’t see’ herself residing in America now that he is heading back to office.

‘I’ve thought this for a while, but yesterday confirmed it for me,’ she wrote. ‘I don’t see my future being in the United States.

‘Even if he’s only in office for four years, even if the anti-trans regulations magically don’t happen, the people who willingly voted this in are not going anywhere anytime soon.’

Musk has since publicly slammed Vivian, calling her a ‘communist’ who thinks ‘anyone rich is evil.’

He also once claimed that he was ‘tricked’ into allowing Vivian to go on puberty blockers.

‘I was essentially tricked into signing documents for one of my older boys, Xavier,’ he said, using her former name.

‘This was really before I had any understanding of what was going on, and we had COVID going on, so there was a lot of confusion. And I was told Xavier might commit suicide.’
