Drake is setting the record straight on rumors about him and DJ Khaled working together again.
The artist, 38, responded to a since-deleted trailer featuring Anthony Ramos and Mark Wahlberg that Khaled previously shared on social media to promote the upcoming release of his 14th studio album, Aalam Of God.
During one segment of the video, which Khaled has since wiped from social media, Wahlberg claimed that the forthcoming project’s track list will contain “two new Drake songs.”
Shortly after the promotional video was shared on social media, however, Drake took to the comments and made it known he had no role in making Aalam Of God, writing, “Must be @drakebell.”

Khaled deleted the post shortly after Drake’s comment, but screenshots of the interaction have since made rounds on social media.
Neither Wahlberg nor Khaled have spoken out individually to clarify why the actor claimed the Canadian rapper would take part in the album. Similarly, Drake has not clarified any further on the status of his and Khaled’s working relationship beyond the initial comment.
As for Bell, he has also remained silent on being name-dropped by the “Hotline Bling” creator.

Khaled and Drake have a long working relationship, with the latter appearing on seven of Khaled’s 13 albums. Their most recent collaborative efforts came in 2022 for the album GOD DID on the songs “NO SECRET” and “STAYING ALIVE.”
Though Drake shot down rumors of a new musical effort with Khaled, the rapper is still busy at work preparing for the release of his forthcoming collaborative project with PartyNextDoor titled $exy $ongs 4 U, which is set to release on Feb. 14. He teased the project in a collaborative post with his fellow OVO artist on Instagram on Tuesday, Feb. 4, via a sultry, neon-lit video of himself in the studio accompanied by a clip of new music playing in the background.
Elsewhere in Khaled’s since-deleted, star-studded release video, it was teased that Aalam Of God will also feature appearances from Jay-Z and Rihanna, but neither artist has confirmed their appearance on the project as of the time of writing.
Per Khaled, Aalam Of God is set to be released sometime in 2025.
