Jason Kelce thinks the whole idea of a lookalike contest is hilariously ridiculous.
The retired Philadelphia Eagles center reacted to the viral competition that was held on Dec. 15 in the Pennsylvania city.
“Newsflash, any overweight white guy with a beard looks just like me, what are we talking about?” Jason said during the Monday Night Football Countdown Dec. 16. “It’s an easy competition. There is absolutely nothing unique about any of these gentlemen other than they are large people with beards and they are of Caucasian complexion.”
But when Jason’s cohosts, Scott Van Pelt and Ryan Clark, pointed out the number of men who showed up to the competition, the New Heights host couldn’t help but praise the winner.
“That guy is spot on,” he said regarding one contestant who rocked a sweater. “That’s my new profile picture.”
During the competition, some of the contestants stripped their shirts and bared their hairy chest as a callback to Jason’s appearance at the Buffalo Bills vs. Kansas City Chiefs game in January, where he went viral after captured chugging a beer before ripping his shirt open in the stands.

Jason—older brother to Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce—even joked that he attended the contest and lost.
“I gotta confession that is actually me,” he said. “I came to my own lookalike and came in second.”
“You know how disheartening it is to learn that there is nothing unique about you at all,” he continued. “Thousands of people look like you.”

One person who gave the contest their seal of approval was Jason’s pregnant wife Kylie Kelce, who offered some tips to any men thinking of entering, ahead of the big day.
“You do have to have a strong brow,” Kylie—who shares daughters Wyatt, 5, Elliotte, 3, and Bennett, 21 months—with Jason said on her Not Gonna Lie podcast Dec. 14. “There is a misconception about the degree of beard my husband has. It’s fairly short, it’s not unbelievable thick.”
Most importantly, Kylie noted that capturing her husband’s style would be key.
“Shoot for a heavy sweater,” she said. “One that has some type of design on it. I know we’ve all seen him in the dude sweater, that’s one of his favorites. I’m sure that we’ll see a few velour sweatsuits. You better make sure that you put the Italian flag on it so you can shout out Big Dom.”
“I do know it’s winter in Philadelphia, but lets’ be real..flip flops,” she added speaking of her husband’s signature Birkenstocks. “If you’re going to commit, commit.”
The Not Gonna Lie host was eager to see the results.
