Pat Mahomes Sr. & Former MLB Star John Rocker Get Into Nasty Twitter Fight After Nearly Throwing Punches On Bourbon Street During Super Bowl Week

Pat Mahomes Sr.’s shouting match with fellow ex-MLB pitcher John Rocker was one of the more confusing and unexpected beefs nobody expected.

A video shared online shows the former Major League Baseball pitchers getting into a heated exchange in New Orleans.

In the video, Rocker approaches Mahomes Sr. before the latter would suddenly swat his hand away. It only escalated from there.

It’s unclear what led to the exchange, which occurred outside a New Orleans bar.

What is clear is that neither Pat Mahomes Sr. nor John Rocker threw any punches as the two former major leaguers eventually walked away.

 

Unfortunately, it appears they decided to take their beef with each other to social media.

It started with Rocker commenting on the video after it was posted to Barstool Sports’ Twitter page:

Pat Mahomes Sr. and former MLB player John Rocker got into a confrontation on Bourbon Street during Super Bowl LIX week, and social media has been going crazy.

Mahomes Sr was in town to watch his son, Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, play in Super Bowl LIX against the Philadelphia Eagles.

Despite what it looks like, the two are working everybody on the rumors that they’re set to fight each other in an amateur boxing match.

Barstool Sports founder Dave Portnoy said in an interview that Rocker and Mahomes Sr. are expected to fight in a future Rough ‘N’ Rowdy boxing event.

“That’s a factual rumor,” Portnoy responded when asked by vlogger Adan Glyn if the two were pegged to compete at the boxing event. “I think it’s 100%, but I haven’t seen the signed paperwork yet.”
