Simone Biles has a lot to celebrate in Paris this summer, but the record-breaking gymnast also made sure to carve out some time to celebrate her dad’s birthday this week, with a little help from Snoop Dogg.

The decorated Olympian shared on Instagram that her dad, Ronald, was marking his 75th birthday on August 8th, complete with bedazzled sunglasses and champagne. Her dad’s birthday was made extra special by a new Death Row Records chain gifted by 2024 Olympics commentator Snoop Dogg.

Her sister, Adria Biles, posted a photo on her Instagram Story of a nonchalant Ronald Biles proudly showing off his new jewelry. “Snoop gave him a chain now he don’t know how to act,” she wrote, with a laughing emoji. See the photo below.

Snoop Dogg has been everywhere in Paris, appearing as a torch bearer during the opening ceremonies, swimming with Michael Phelps, and prepping for the closing ceremonies, where he’ll be performing. In addition to Snoop, Billie Eilish, Phoenix, Air, and Red Hot Chili Peppers are set to play at the event passing off festivities from Paris to Los Angeles, where the 2028 Olympics will be held.

Upon returning to America, Simone Biles is set to appear on the “Gold Over America” tour, a gymnastics event hitting 30 arenas throughout the US this fall. Biles will be joined by other 2024 gymnastics favorites like Jordan Chiles and Fred Richard — grab tickets here.
