Taylor Swift’s debut album is making waves once more, nearly 19 years after its original release

Taylor Swift is the most commercially successful musician of her generation. Some may argue she’s the best artist or the most influential as well, but those are up for debate. Her success on the charts and her sales figures are unflappable, and even her oldest releases are still popular to this day.

The singer-songwriter’s self-titled debut album is a chart hit again in the United Kingdom this week. The early bestseller appears on three rankings at the moment in that country, and it reappears on two-thirds of them.

Taylor Swift breaks back onto the Official Physical Albums chart at No. 81. It lands five rungs below that position on the Official Albums Sales list, as fans in the U.K. continue to buy the set, even after so many years of availability.

The self-titled affair sits much, much higher on the third ranking it appears on. Taylor Swift returns to the top 10 on the Official Country Artists Albums chart. On that genre-specific list, the set lifts from No. 12 to No. 9.

Swift’s first project has only reached No. 1 on the Official Country Artists Albums chart, at least among the three lists it lands on this frame. It has thus far barely cracked the top 40 on the other two.

The pop, country, and alternative superstar claims many positions on most of the charts she appears on this week in the U.K., other than the Official Country Artists Albums list. On the main albums tally—where Taylor Swift is not present—she fills seven spaces, the most of any artist.

Taylor Swift was released in 2006 to acclaim from critics, and it started one of the most successful music careers of all time. The title featured singles like “Teardrops on My Guitar,” “Our Song,” and “Tim McGraw,” among others, and a few of them are still remembered as some of her catchiest country tunes.
