South Korean Olympian Kim Ye-ji Collapses During Press Conference
South Korean Olympic silver medalist Kim Ye-ji experienced a frightening incident on Friday when she collapsed during a press conference. The 31-year-old athlete had a convulsion, shocking those who were present at the John Book shooting range in Imsil county.
According to reports, Kim regained consciousness and was immediately taken to the hospital. While some media outlets initially reported that she had received cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), an official later clarified that this was not the case.
The official explained that Kim was likely exhausted and stressed after her recent participation in the Paris Olympic games, where she won a silver medal in the women’s 10-meter air pistol event. He stated that Kim would remain hospitalized for observation until she had fully recovered.
