Patrick Mahomes and Maxx Crosby play each other twice a year, and each time, there is always cinema when those two are on the field.

Both players always exchange heated words, but this doesn’t mean they dislike each other.
Just last week on Black Friday, the Chiefs came out with a 19-17 victory after a late-game fumble cost the Raiders a chance to kick a game-winning field goal.
Maxx Crosby admitted that was a frustrating result.
The Raiders defensive star recently told Jim Gray on the “Let’s Go!” podcast that their intense trash talk reflects their deep respect for each other.
“That’s why we’re so close to each other every time we see each other. You know, that’s my guy. I respect the hell out of him. I look at him as the best at his position. I look at myself with the best of what I do. So it’s like, at the end of the day, we see each other twice a year. We know exactly how we like to play. We know what we’re about, we know our energy. It’s a match made in heaven.”
Maxx Crosby continued: “It’s either like, Pat looks at me, and he’s like, ‘That was a good rush. That was good (expletive).’ Or, like, I make him step up, throw the ball real quick and he’s like, ‘That would have been a touchdown if you weren’t there.’ I’m like, ‘Appreciate it.’ And then there’s other times he’s like, ‘Get up off me, man, get up off me.’ I’m like, ‘Shut up.’
“That’s our conversation sometimes. So, you know, it gets a little rated R from time to time. But at the end of the day, it’s all respect. He’s running for his life trying to make his plays, and my job is to literally kill him.”

It’s Been A Rough Year For Maxx Crosby And The Las Vegas Raiders
Week 13 brought another loss for the Las Vegas Raiders as the team’s record fell to 2-10.
Despite all the good things that happened towards the end of the 2023 season, the team couldn’t find their identity to build on that success in 2024.
It’s been tough for Maxx Crosby, who injured himself in Week 4 and missed the first game of his career.
However, he isn’t quitting on his team.
In the past six games, he’s played every single defensive snap (387), per Next Gen Stats, the longest streak of a defensive lineman since at least 2016.
The only silver lining is that the Raiders are still in a good position to get their top choice at quarterback. They are tied for the worst record in the league with the Jaguars and Giants.
