Angle Reese told a reporter that they were “way off” when they guestimated that she had a $2million net worth.
Without a doubt one of 2024’s standout players in the WNBA, the 22-year-old has enjoyed a wealth of success since teaming up with the Eastern Conference’s Chicago Sky. The power forward rose through the ranks at LSU, winning the 2023 NCAA Championship with her college while being named the tournament’s Most Outstanding Player before entering the 2024 WNBA draft.
Reese was selected as the seventh overall pick of the draft by the Sky, making her debut in May in an 87-79 loss to the Dallas Wings. However, the score didn’t reflect Reese’s performance in the game, in which she proved her worth by posting 12 points and eight rebounds.
She found herself named the league’s Rookie of the Month in June with an average of 14.5 points and 13.2 rebounds per game, finishing the season in September with an average of 13.6 points, 13.1 rebounds and 1.3 steals per game.
And while her namesake may have been overshadowed by the WNBA’s Rookie of the Year, Caitlin Clark, Reese has certainly shown that she has an incredibly bright future in the women’s’ game – named as a WNBA All-Star and in the WNBA’s All-Rookie Team of the year.
Thanks to her successes on the courts, as well as her charisma off them, Reese has quickly become one of the world’s most marketable basketball athletes securing brand deals and endorsements with the likes of Reebok, McDonald’s, Beats by Dre and Reese’s to name a few.

Reese recently gave fans a sneak peak into what her staggering fortune looks like when she was asked about her finances by Speedy Morman at this year’s ComplexCon in Las Vegas. Morman probed: “$2 Million. Is that inaccurate?” To which, Reese responded: “Yeah.”
Not wanting to pry too much, Morman then asked if the estimate was even close, with a tight-lipped Reese bluntly retorting: “Way off.” While Reese didn’t give an exact sum with regards to her bank balance, she did tell listeners of the chat that she’s been able to pay off her mom’s mortgage.
She explained: “I’m able to spend time with my mom. I can pay my mom’s mortgage. My family, everybody’s taken care of.” She then added: “One thing about me, I have a really good circle around me, and I think that’s really important.”
Reese will have the opportunity to bolster her staggering net worth further when she teams up with Napheesa Collier and Breanna Stewart’s Unrivaled league during her Chicago Sky off-season. The league, which is set to launch in January 2025, will see 3×3 teams jam-packed with some of today’s top talent compete over eight weeks – with notable names like Reese, Jewell Loyd, Kelsey Plum, Brittney Sykes and Courtney Vandersloot all signed up.
