Taylor Swift seems to be covering the Kansas City Chiefs with some special black magic.
Travis Kelce, who has been dating Swift since summer 2023, referenced a fan theory about her magical powers this week on his podcast.
The Kansas City Chiefs tight end joked about how his girlfriend’s presence at his games has led Swifties to coin the term, claiming that the pop superstar has “voodoo” powers to help the Kansas City Chiefs pull off improbable wins.
The 35-year-old made reference to the term on Wednesday during his “New Heights” podcast alongside his brother, Jason Kelce, as they discussed their favorite sports movies.
Jason Kelce cited Michael Jordan’s Space Jam as his favorite sports film, while Travis preferred baseball-themed movies.
“Rookie of the Year, Angels in the Outfield — I’d love to f–king feel what it’s like,” Travis Kelce stated.
That easily opened the door for Jason to reference something involving Taylor Swift.
“I kind of feel like you guys are in the angels in the outfield,” Jason said as he referenced the Kansas City Chiefs’ 11-1 record this NFL season.
Jason jokingly suggested that there was “some unknown” force helping the Chiefs pull out close wins.
Travis immediately knew that his brother was calling out the popular Taylor Swift theory that has been coined as “Tayvoodoo.”
“Here you go with this f—ing tayvoodoo s—, dude,” Travis said.
The term “Tayvoodoo” was coined by her fanbase years ago and is largely based on the idea that anybody who has done her wrong will ultimately get their karma somewhere down the road.
The Chiefs Do Not Lose With Taylor Swift In Attendance
The Chiefs are 11-1, but that loss came on the road with Swift not in attendance.
She has attended zero road games but all home contests.
They are undefeated with the pop star in the stands.
