Man Who Tossed $950M Bitcoin Hard Drive Stuns World with Jaw-Dropping Update After 12 Years

James Howells is finally done.
After over a decade, Howells finally gave up his search for the hard drive he accidentally threw away in 2013, which held 8,000 Bitcoins.
Howells accidentally tossed away a hard drive while cleaning his office in 2013. Today, the hard drive, worth $950 million, is still missing, but Howells has reportedly given up his search.
It was earlier this year that Howells considered purchasing the landfill site just so he could search for his missing fortune. However, he lost the case against the Newport City Council, which would have allowed him to search through the piles of trash.
Bloomingtonbit reported that UK authorities have since planned to close the landfill site next year and construct a solar power plant. That means the possibility of retrieving the hard drive has disappeared completely.
The life-altering cleanup might be James Howells’ biggest regret.
