The Delusion of Equivalency: When “Peace” is Just a Prelude to Conquest

The desperate attempt to equate radical Islam with any other modern religious movement is a hallmark of Western intellectual cowardice. As the recent footage from Dearborn, Michigan, and the “Al-Quds Day” rallies proves, the rot is no longer just “over there.” It is here. When activists on American soil chant “Death to America” and call the United States “one of the rottenest countries that ever existed,” they aren’t just expressing a political grievance—they are signaling their allegiance to an ideology that views the very system protecting their right to protest as an obstacle to be dismantled.

The “useful idiots” on the Left continue to play a dangerous game of pretend, claiming that this has “nothing to do with Islam.” It is a lie that requires a willful blindness to both history and current data.

The Numbers Don’t Lie: Terror by the Thousands

Critics love to bring up the Westboro Baptist Church or the IRA to deflect from the scale of Islamist violence. But let’s look at the actual math. While the Westboro Baptist Church is a group of hateful cranks with picket signs, they do not have a standing army. They do not govern territory. They do not have a nuclear program.

Where is the Christian equivalent? Where are the armies of “Christian ISIS” marching across continents? They don’t exist. Bringing up the Inquisition—a centuries-old historical event—to justify modern-day beheadings is the peak of progressive desperation.

The 51% Reality Check: A Different Country Entirely

The debate over the “homogeneity” of a nation misses the point entirely. If a European country becomes 51% Muslim, it doesn’t just change its demographic; it changes its DNA.

Modern liberal values—the equality of women, the separation of church and state, and the protection of LGBTQ+ rights—are fundamentally incompatible with Sharia law. A 2013 Pew Research study (the scale of which has only been reinforced by more recent data) found that in many major Muslim-majority nations, support for Sharia as the official law of the land is nearly universal: 91% in Iraq, 89% in the Palestinian territories, and 84% in Pakistan.

Tarek Bazzi, an organizer for the Al-Quds Committee Detroit, stood on American soil and quoted Ayatollah Khomeini, encouraging people to “pour all of your chants and all of your shouts upon the head of America.”

This is the “rottenest country,” according to them. Not the regimes that hang dissidents from cranes or the groups that use human shields in Gaza. No, the country that provides them with freedom, infrastructure, and a platform is the “rotten” one. This isn’t about a ceasefire; it’s about a “Death to America” ideology that has successfully infiltrated the American heartland under the guise of “social justice.”

The Hypocrisy of “Liberal” Support

It is profoundly ironic that liberals—who claim to value diversity and tolerance—are the most vocal defenders of an ideology that is “extremely illiberal.” Islamism, even in its “benign” forms, rejects the core tenets of the West. Women in these societies are treated as second-class citizens, and political dissent is met with a bullet.

The Left is currently funding and platforming its own eventual executioners. They are the “Queers for Palestine” who will be met with the same fate as the “lefty Christians” in Lebanon. They are being used to destroy the system from within, and once that system is gone, their “tolerance” will be rewarded with the same brutality the Iranian regime shows its own people today.
