Struggling With Dad’s Health, Randi Mahomes Celebrates Major Milestone as Patrick Mahomes’ Mom’s Book Goes International

The Chiefs’ star QB Patrick Mahomes‘ mother is currently battling a family crisis. However, despite her father, Randi Martins’ declining health, as he was hospitalized, she continues to find strength in celebrating the growing success of her book, Play Together. Randi Mahomes, in collaboration with her friend Teresa Jane and Siphre Books, released the children’s book back on April 25 this year.

Randi took to her Instagram account @randimahomes to reshare the story originally posted by entrepreneur Wendy Hearn. Hearn, through her IG handle, @realtorhearn shared a heartwarming picture of the kid, Jesse posing with the book Play Together. She captioned the post, “Jesse and the Sunday School kids loved story time today! What a special book!”

Overwhelmed at this milestone, Randi Mahomes captioned her story “Play Together shared in Canada. Amazing,” addressing the growing popularity of her book. She also posted the Amazon link for those interested in purchasing it.

Play Together is a story about Miss Martha’s class, as it navigates through the ethics of friendship, hope, and faith as the kids play on the playground. It also has sections from Bible verses. Previously Randi also attended the book signing event at South Plains Mall on August 31. And, she and Teresa also attended a Meet & Greet Brunch at Cotton Court Hotel back on September 1.

Collaborating with her close friend Teresa Jane on this, Randi dedicated the book to her late mother Debbie Bates Martin, as she had previously posted on her IG story. She wrote, “I am so proud of this! Dedicating to my momma. She would be proud #blessed.” She lost her mother in April 2023 after Debbie faced health complications. And, now, as her father is hospitalized, the current times are quite challenging for her.

Randi Mahomes battles her dad’s health crisis

Back on September 13, Randi asked her followers to come together, requesting everyone to pray for her father’s quick recovery. She wrote, “Prayer warriors, please pray for my daddy. He is in the hospital and is not well … his name is Randy.” Hoping for quick healing earlier in October, she had again come forth, expressing, “I PRAY OCTOBER IS GOOD FOR YOU,” posting the message on her Instagram story.

Randi shares a very close bond with her father. On the occasion of Father’s Day, she made a heartfelt post, writing, “Happy Father’s Day Dad!! I love you.” She had also posted an Easter photo in August, as she overwhelmingly recalled, “Almost got daddy to smile!!!” Later on September 30, she cherished the sweet moments with her dad, writing, “Watching the game with daddy today… prayers please for my dad.” With her deep faith, she is manifesting a quick recovery for her dad.
