Travis Kelce’s inner circle react to Taylor Swift endorsing Kamala Harris – as the Chiefs star stays silent

Travis Kelce‘s inner circle has come out in support of the Chiefs star’s girlfriend, Taylor Swift, after the pop superstar endorsed Kamala Harris Tuesday night.

The ‘Fortnight’ songstress, 35, publicly endorsed the Vice President in a lengthy social media statement – which she signed off as ‘Childless Cat Lady’ – following Tuesday’s Presidential debate against Republican candidate, Donald Trump.

The 14-time Grammy Award winner’s Instagram post clashed with the political beliefs of Brittany Mahomes, Swift’s close friend and wife of Chiefs quarterback, Patrick Mahomes.

However, while the two Chiefs WAGs stand on opposite ends of the political spectrum, it appears the majority of Kelce’s close friends, including sister-in-law Kylie, back the singer.

Although the tight end himself has not publicly reacted to his girlfriend’s statement, in which she says she has done her research and made her choice, many members of his inner circle have.

The three-time Super Bowl winner’s managers, André and Aaron Eanes, were among the millions to like the ‘Anti-Hero’ hitmaker’s Instagram post.

The brothers, who run A&A Management and signed Kelce as the company’s second client, have carefully curated the tight end’s fame both on and off the football field amid his high-profile romance, including brand deals, commercials, and television and movie projects.

Meanwhile, his childhood friend and chef, Kumar Ferguson, and trainers, Alex Skacel and Andrew Spruill, also supported the post, which as of Wednesday morning had already amassed over 7.78 million likes.

Kylie Kelce, who is married to his brother, Philadelphia Eagles legend Jason Kelce, and close fried Aric Jones joined the likes of WNBA superstar Caitlin Clark in liking the statement.

Kelce has kept silent on his girlfriend’s endorsement. However, it has been suggested that the NFL star shares a similar stance.

‘Well, you know the Taylor Swift rumors are interesting to me, because I was told a couple of days ago that Travis Kelce also had reached out to the Harris campaign when it was first announced and said that he wanted to be here on the night that [Kamala] was speaking,’ CBS’ Gayle King said during the DNC last month.

Harris walked off stage to Swift’s 2019 hit ‘The Man’ at a post-debate watch party in Philadelphia while Swiftie-style friendship bracelets went on sale on her campaign’s website as the popstar confirmed: ‘I will be casting my vote for Kamala Harris and Tim Walz in the 2024 Presidential Election.’

She explained that the Vice President ‘fights for the rights and causes I believe need a warrior to champion them.’

Swift added: ‘I think she is a steady-handed, gifted leader and I believe we can accomplish so much more in this country if we are led by calm and not chaos.

‘I was so heartened and impressed by her selection of running mate (Walz), who has been standing up for LGBTQ+ rights, IVF, and a woman’s right to her own body for decades. I’ve done my research, and I’ve made my choice.’

Swift’s social media statement came days after she was taken to task by Swifties for cozying up to Brittany at the US Open, despite her support for Trump.

Swift and Brittany developed a close friendship last season, as their partners led the Kansas City Chiefs all the way to the Super Bowl once more. They were regularly seen sitting together at games and hanging out off the field, too.

But Brittany, who has been married to Chiefs star Patrick since 2022, sparked a liberal meltdown last month when she liked a Donald Trump post on social media.

The pregnant mother-of-two hit back at her critics in a fiery response but many social media users feared what the controversy could mean for her fledgling friendship with Taylor.

Speculation of a feud was fueled during the Chiefs’ season opener against the Baltimore Ravens last Thursday when Swift and Brittany sat in different luxury suites.

Now, the singer’s post is the latest chapter in her and Brittany being on opposite sides of the American political spectrum.

But a source exclusively told DailyMail.com that they ‘respect that they have different views’ and have made a ‘pact’ to avoid discussing politics last month and appeared to have brushed off any bad blood with their US Open double date with their partners in New York City over the weekend.

Walz found out the news of Swift’s endorsement during a live interview on MSNBC where he put his hand over his heart and looked genuinely touched by the news.

‘I’m incredibly grateful to Taylor Swift,’ Walz said. ‘I say that as a fellow cat owner.’

‘That’s the type of courage we need in America,’ he added. ‘This is an opportunity Swifties: KamalaHarris.com – get over there.’
