General Hospital Spoilers, December 9: Can Carly Save Valentin and Help Charlotte?

Carly’s Big Problem

Carly (Laura Wright) never planned for any of this. She only wanted to check on Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) while he was locked up overseas. She thought she was helping a friend. But things changed fast.

Now, Valentin is not in jail anymore. He is hiding — and the place he is hiding in is shocking. He is living right inside Carly’s garden shed. Carly never expected her life to get so messy, but trouble always seems to follow her.

She tries to keep calm, but things get worse when Valentin comes back into her house. He steps into her living room and asks Carly for a huge favor. Carly already looks stressed, and she knows this request is not simple at all.

What Does Valentin Want?

Most likely, it has something to do with his daughter, Charlotte (Bluesy Burke). Valentin loves Charlotte more than anything in the world. He wants to protect her, and now he needs Carly’s help to do it.

But there is a problem — a big one.
Lulu is trying hard to keep Valentin away from Charlotte.
Lulu (Alexa Havins) is very firm. She does not want Valentin near Charlotte. In fact, she does not even want Jack (Chris McKenna) near her. Lulu thinks she is doing the right thing. She wants to protect her daughter and keep her safe.

But soon, Lulu may learn that she cannot control everything.
Spoilers say that Charlotte will feel relieved on Tuesday. That means something changes for her. Maybe Valentin gets to see her… or at least sends her an important message. Whatever happens, Charlotte will finally feel a little safer.

Jason Wants Answers From Britt

While all this drama is happening, another story is building across town.
Jason wants Britt to tell the truth, but she is scared.
Britt (Kelly Thiebaud) wakes up feeling terrible after drinking too much the night before. When she opens her eyes, she finds Jason (Steve Burton) still sitting beside her. He stayed the whole night, watching over her.

Britt feels tired and sick. She does not want to answer questions. But Jason is not giving up. He wants to know more about the strange medicine Britt asked him to help with. He wants to know what it is and where she got it.

Britt freezes.
She knows that telling Jason the truth could put her life in danger.

Why?

Because the man behind the medicine is Sidwell (Carlo Rota) — a man who does not forgive anyone who crosses him. Britt knows exactly what happens to people who upset Sidwell.

Just look at what happened to Professor Dalton (Daniel Goddard).

The Danger Grows

Laura and Sonny team up to deal with Sidwell’s threats.
Britt does not know where Dalton’s body is now… but Jason does. He is the one who had to get rid of it after it showed up inside Laura’s (Genie Francis) car trunk.

This is where the story connects.

Sidwell visited Laura’s house and Sonny’s house on Thanksgiving. That means he is watching all of them, and he is not afraid to show up at their doors.

Now Laura and Sonny (Maurice Benard) must work together.
They know Sidwell is dangerous. They cannot let him control them or push them around. But they also understand that Sidwell has trapped them in a corner. Whatever they do next must be smart.

Sonny always has a plan. He has faced many dangerous enemies before. The question is:
Will his next plan be good enough to stop Sidwell?

Carly must decide if she will help Valentin.
