The singer has issued a warning as AI-generated content featuring her image and voice is increasingly spreading across online platforms.

These products were created by imitating her voice or musical performance, even claiming to be new releases by Celine Dion.

The 56-year-old singer last released music in 2019 with the album Courage. She has since stepped away from the spotlight due to her diagnosis of Rigid Person Syndrome.

“There are currently many unauthorized AI-generated tracks under Celine Dion’s name being shared online and distributed on various platforms. We would like to clarify that these recordings are not original and are not part of Celine Dion’s official music collection ,” the singer’s representative said in a statement.

Celine Dion is currently focusing on her recovery, taking time to regain her health before planning to release any new music or return to the stage.

In a conversation with Vogue, Celine Dion shared her experience of first noticing her symptoms while on the Taking Chances tour in 2008.

“I started having trouble controlling my voice. My voice was high and then spasmodic. As a singer, of course I had to go to an ENT doctor right away ,” she recalled.

Despite numerous tests, doctors were unable to find any problems with Celine Dion’s vocal cords. When she finally found out exactly what was wrong with her, the singer was surprisingly relieved. “It sounds strange, but when I found out what was wrong, I felt relieved. It meant I could stop struggling hopelessly with the disease and start fighting it.”
