Vietnamese-American player Jaylin Williams has his second triple-double in his NBA career

Jaylin Williams continues to perform well to help the Oklahoma City Thunder continue to fly high in the 2024-2025 NBA.

Vietnamese-American basketball player Jaylin Williams had his second triple-double (3 indexes above 10) in his NBA career in Oklahoma City Thunder’s 133-100 victory over Philadelphia 76ers this morning (March 20) Hanoi time.

Accordingly, Williams had 19 points (7/11 successful shots, including 3 accurate 3-pointers), 17 rebounds and 11 assists after 38 minutes of play. In addition, “J-Will” also had 2 successful steals with a plus minus index of +33 – the second highest in OKC as well as the entire match, only behind Isaiah Joe (+35).

Earlier this month, Jaylin Williams recorded his first career triple-double (10 points, 11 rebounds, 11 assists) as OKC defeated the Portland Trail Blazers 107-89. The 2002-born forward has shown remarkable progress in the 2024-2025 NBA season and is increasingly gaining the trust of coach Mike Daigneault.

In this morning’s match, both OKC and the 76ers lost important stars in their lineups. The 76ers went into “tanker” mode when Joel Embiid, Tyrese Maxey, Paul George, Andre Drummond, Eric Gordon, Jared McCain were all injured and absent, while OKC let Shai-Gilgeous Alexander, Luguentz Dort and Isaiah Hartenstein rest. This helped Jaylin Williams get a lot of playing time, the 22-year-old player took advantage of the opportunity to have an excellent performance.
