Simone Biles is hoping “y’all are having a better day” than her because she is definitely not having it.

The Olympic gold medalist recently took to her Instagram to share a horrible experience she’s been dealing with.

Biles shared a screenshot of a text message she received from an unknown sender questioning her experience with abuse by team doctor Larry Nassar.

“Were you molested by that Nasser coach?” the first text read.

Additionally, the text criticized her for discussing her marriage online.

“Also don’t go on the internet taking criticism from strangers about your husband or marriage. It shows how young and immature you really are damaged goods,” the second text read.

This week, we talk expectations as the Boston Celtics preseason winds down, and preparations for the 2018-19 NBA Regular Season begins. We discuss whether the Celt’s 1-3 preseason record is cause for concern, as well as some of the bright spots from an otherwise-lackluster showing in what we HOPE is a tuneup for the games that count. We also talk expectations for the team and individual players, using a best- and worst- case model to temper expectations as much as to set the bar high. Venting about Boston’s Game 5 loss to Philly, being unready for the moment yet again
The Boston Celtics dropped a critical Game 5 of their 2023 Eastern Conference semifinals series with the Philadelphia 76ers on Tuesday night by coming out with low defensive intensity and poor ball movement. The loss gave fans flashbacks of the 2022 postseason when Boston put their backs against the wall against the Milwaukee Bucks. Will the team be able to win two games in a row to avoid their season ending? Can they get their act together before it is too late? Or is this iteration of the Celtics doomed to repeat history and end their season in disappointment as another opportunity to hang a banner passes them by? In a slightly unhinged episode of the CLNS Media “Celtics Lab” podcast, your usual hosts vent their frustrations at being back in the same situation that has plagued this team for ages yet again, as well as taking the pulse of the locker room postgame. We also get caught up on the rest of the teams still playing in the 2023 NBA Playoffs and team news since we last podded. The Celtics Lab podcast is brought to you by Fan Duel and Better Help. It’s groundhog day all over again as Boston drops Game 1 to the Heat
The first half of Game 1 of the NBA’s 2023 Eastern Conference Finals went exactly how fans of the Boston Celtics hoped it would, with the team defending and attacking with the sort of intensity needed to meet a determined opponent like the Miami Heat. But in the second half of the tilt, the Celtics came out a little flat, and that was all the encouragement needed by Miami to punch Boston in the mouth, never looking back as they cruised to a 123-116 win. What went wrong? Why are the Celtics allowing themselves to be taken out of their game so easily? Have they still not learned their lesson, or is there something more here? And is head coach Joe Mazzulla being outcoached by Erik Spoelstra, or was this loss more on the players? The hosts of the CLNS Media “Celtics Lab” podcast took the pulse of the team at the podium to try and answer some of the above, as well as getting caught up on the NBA coaching carousel and other non-playoff news while we look ahead to Game 2 of the series. Biles, who has won 11 Olympic medals and is celebrated for her contributions to gymnastics, expressed her dismay at the message in her Instagram Story.

She wrote, “Hope y’all are having a better day than me. These are the texts I receive from random a** numbers. Btw y’all are f***in weird for this.”

FYI, Larry Nassar was a well-known doctor at Michigan State University and worked with USA Gymnastics, but he misused his position in a very harmful way. Instead of helping young female athletes, he took advantage of them under the pretense of medical treatment.

This terrible betrayal has had lasting effects, leading to more than $1 billion set aside to support Nassar’s victims.

The situation became even more troubling when the Justice Department admitted that it failed to take action before 2016, even after investigators found disturbing images related to child abuse in Nassar’s possession.

This oversight contributed to what has become one of the biggest scandals in sports history.

Simone Biles has publicly expressed her pain following a recent report claiming that USA Gymnastics did not investigate allegations of abuse against her by team doctor Larry Nassar.

The Wall Street Journal’s article suggests that Biles was intentionally kept uninformed during the investigation into Nassar’s actions.

Biles, who was among the first to speak out against Nassar, shared her feelings on X (formerly Twitter).

“Can’t tell you how hard this is to read and process. The pain is real and doesn’t just go away…especially when new facts are still coming out. What’s it going to take for a complete and independent investigation of both USOPC and USAG???” she tweeted.

Alongside Biles, over 140 women, including fellow gymnasts Aly Raisman, Gabby Douglas, and McKayla Maroney, have accused Nassar of sexual abuse.

He is currently imprisoned for his crimes.
