Even more damning, Lawler points out that Mamdani was “raising money two weeks ago for UNRWA.” UNRWA (the UN Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East) has been “defunded by Congress because of its role on October 7th and the death of Americans… and he’s raising money for an organization that was housing Hamas, that had members of its organization working with Hamas on October 7th. It’s disqualifying. Period.”
